Training

Trigon Cyber offers a range of technical training programs designed to equip individuals and organizations with advanced skills in key areas ranging from systems engineering, cybersecurity, industrial security (NISPOM), and healthcare related.

Types of Training We Offer

Here is a list of some of the technical training course we and / or our strategic partners offer through us, along with a synopsis of each:
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
This training covers the principles and applications of MBSE, a methodology that uses modeling to support system requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation. Participants will learn about the various MBSE tools and techniques, such as UML (Unified Modeling Language) and SysML (Systems Modeling Language), and how to apply them in system development. The course also emphasizes the importance of creating and maintaining a system model that serves as a focal point throughout the system’s life cycle.
General Cybersecurity
Trigon Cyber’s cybersecurity training program is designed to educate participants on the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices for protecting information systems. Topics covered include network security, endpoint protection, risk management, incident response, and compliance with cybersecurity frameworks and standards. This program is suitable for professionals looking to enhance their cybersecurity skills, as well as for employees of any organization who need to understand the basics of cybersecurity to protect their work or customer environment.
Industrial Control System Cybersecurity
The industrial security training focuses on protecting industrial control systems (ICS) and critical infrastructure from cyber threats. Participants will learn about the unique challenges of securing industrial environments, including SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and the best practices for mitigating risks. The course covers topics such as network segmentation, access control, vulnerability management, and the implementation of security protocols specific to industrial settings. This training is essential for professionals working in industries where the security of operational technology (OT) is critical.
NISPOM Training by Red Bike Publishing
This training includes all required NISPOM topics for cleared employees, such as Security Awareness Training, Insider Threat Training, Derivative Classifier Training, and SF 312 Training. It’s particularly useful for smaller cleared defense contractors where FSOs might have additional duties. The training package is designed to be low-cost and high value, allowing organizations to focus on core competencies while meeting NISPOM training requirements.
CPR and AED Training

Trigon Cyber’s CPR and AED training, conducted by certified RNs, is a comprehensive course designed to equip clients with the skills needed to respond effectively in cardiac emergencies. This training includes both theoretical knowledge and practical, hands-on experience with dummies for realistic simulations.

  • CPR Training: The CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) component of the training focuses on teaching lifesaving techniques used in emergencies where someone’s breathing or heartbeat has stopped. Immediate CPR can significantly increase the chances of survival after cardiac arrest. The training covers conventional CPR methods involving chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth breathing, as well as compression-only CPR, also known as Hands-Only CPR, recommended for bystanders who witness an adult suddenly collapse.
  • AED Training: The AED (Automated External Defibrillator) segment educates participants on how to use these devices in a timely and effective manner. AEDs can greatly increase the survival chances of a cardiac arrest victim. The training program might include guidance on implementing an AED program within an organization.
